Born to a poor immigrant family in New York City, Richard Carmona experienced homelessness, hunger, and health disparities during his youth. The experiences greatly sensitized him to the relationships among culture, health, education and economic status and ultimately shaped his future.

After dropping out of high school, Dr. Carmona enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1967 where he received a GED. By the time he left active duty, he was a Special Forces, combat-decorated Vietnam veteran. He then pursued a college degree and entered medical school at the University of California – San Francisco where he won the prestigious Gold Cane award as the top graduate.

Dr. Carmona became a surgeon with a sub-specialty in trauma, burns and critical care and was recruited to Tucson to establish the first trauma system in southern Arizona which he did successfully. Later, while working full time as a hospital and health system CEO, he earned a master’s degree in public health policy and administration at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Carmona has served for over 34 years with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department in Tucson, including as deputy sheriff, detective, SWAT team leader and department surgeon. He is one of the most highly decorated police officers in Arizona, and his numerous awards include the National Top Cop Award, the National SWAT Officer of the Year, and the National Tactical EMS Award. Dr. Carmona is a nationally recognized SWAT expert and has published extensively on SWAT training and tactics, forensics, and tactical emergency medical support. Dr. Carmona has also served as a medical director of police and fire departments and is a fully qualified peace officer with expertise in special operations and emergency preparedness, including weapons of mass destruction.

In 2006 Vice Admiral Carmona successfully completed the statutory four-year term as Surgeon General and was named vice chairman of Canyon Ranch, CEO of the health division and president of the Canyon Ranch Institute. Dr. Carmona continues his Canyon Ranch leadership role as the Chief of Health Innovations. He also serves on several public corporate boards and works with private equity and venture capital firms to identify emerging science and technology to translate to market for economic and public benefit.

Michelle A. Williams, SM ’88, ScD ’91, is Dean of the Faculty, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, and Angelopoulos Professor in Public Health and International Development, a joint faculty appointment at the Harvard Chan School and Harvard Kennedy School. She is an internationally renowned epidemiologist and public health scientist, an award-winning educator, and a widely recognized academic leader. Prior to becoming Dean, she was Professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology at the Harvard Chan School and Program Leader of the Population Health and Health Disparities Research Programs at Harvard’s Clinical and Translational Sciences Center. Dean Williams previously had a distinguished career at the University of Washington School of Public Health. Her scientific work places special emphasis in the areas of reproductive, perinatal, pediatric, and molecular epidemiology. Dean Williams has published more than 500 scientific articles and was elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2016. In 2020, she was awarded the Ellis Island Medal of Honor and recognized by PR Week as one of the top 50 health influencers of the year. The Dean has an undergraduate degree in biology and genetics from Princeton University, a master’s in civil engineering from Tufts University, and master’s and doctoral degrees in epidemiology from the Harvard Chan School.

Gloria Caulfield leads health and wellness strategy and planning for the Lake Nona Institute. Gloria is passionate about identifying partners who are skillful at collaboration and have the desire to innovate solutions that have the potential to move the needle on community health and wellness.

William Jefferson Clinton, the first Democratic president in six decades to be elected twice, led the United States to the longest economic expansion in American history, including the creation of more than 22 million jobs.

After leaving the White House, President Clinton established the Clinton Foundation in order to continue working on the causes he cared about. Since its founding, the Foundation has endeavored to help build more resilient communities by developing and implementing programs that improve people’s health, strengthen local economies, and protect the environment.

The Foundation is guided by the belief that every problem has a solution and together with a diverse set of partners, works to improve lives around the globe and across the United States through a wide range of initiatives, including the now independent Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), which has helped over 11 million people in more than 70 countries access critical HIV/AIDS medications at CHAI-negotiated prices. The Clinton Climate Initiative, the Clinton Development Initiative, and the Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership are applying a business-oriented approach to promote sustainable economic growth and fight climate change in Africa, Latin America, Asia, and the Caribbean. In the United States, the Foundation is focused on helping children and adults live full and active lives by working to combat the rise in childhood obesity through the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, a partnership forged with the American Heart Association; reduce health disparities and address emerging health threats like the opioid epidemic by partnering with local communities through the Clinton Health Matters Initiative; and increase awareness about the importance of early childhood development through the Foundation’s Too Small to Fail initiative.

The Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock remains the heart and soul of the Clinton Foundation, and since it opened its doors in 2004, the Clinton Center has hosted hundreds of thousands of visitors each year, catalyzing $3.3 billion in economic impact throughout the community. Today, the Clinton Center also cooperatively manages the Presidential Leadership Scholars Program—a joint effort between the George W. Bush Presidential Center, the George Bush Presidential Library Foundation, and the Lyndon Baines Johnson Foundation that seeks to equip emerging leaders with the tools they need to drive positive change in their communities.
Above all, President Clinton has always believed that we can do more together than any of us can do on our own. In 2005, he founded the Clinton Global Initiative to foster partnerships among governments, businesses, nongovernmental organizations and private citizens to turn good ideas into measurable results. To date, over 3,600 CGI commitments have already improved the lives of more than 435 million people in more than 180 countries. CGI’s work continues through these ongoing commitments and through the Clinton Global Initiative University which this year, celebrates 10 years of bringing together college and university students from every corner of the globe to turn good ideas into action.

In addition to his continuing roles with the Foundation and CHAI, President Clinton has joined with other former Presidents to support relief efforts for communities recovering from natural disasters—partnering with President George H.W. Bush three times to organize aid and support for those affected by the 2004 tsunami in South Asia, Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and Hurricane Ike in 2008, and with President George W. Bush in the aftermath of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti to raise money and assistance for communities devastated by the storm. To this day, the Clinton Foundation continues to support economic growth, job creation and sustainability in communities across Haiti.

President Clinton was born on August 19, 1946, in Hope, Arkansas. He and his wife Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton have one daughter, Chelsea; two grandchildren, and live in Chappaqua, New York.

Victor is a non-Executive Director of the Co-Operative Group, Collaborate CIC and Nuffield Health. Chair and Co-Founder of Visionable and Founder of Leadership in Mind. He is Chair of Social Enterprise UK and the NHS Confederation. Victor has recently stepped down as the CEO of Turning Point, a social enterprise providing health and social care interventions to approximately 100,000 people per year. Victor also served as a Non-Executive Director on the board of NHS England. He has chaired a number of commission reports into: policing; employment; mental health; housing and fairness for The London Fairness Commission; the Metropolitan Police; and for central and local government. He was awarded a CBE for services to the unemployed and homeless people, and became a crossbench peer in 2001.

Victor is a visiting Professor and Chancellor at the University of Lincoln; an honorary member of the Institute of Psychiatry; President of The International Association of Philosophy and Psychiatry and a Governor at The London School of Economics.

Victor has an MA in Advanced Organisational Consulting from Tavistock Institute and City University.

Dr. Joseph G. Allen is an associate professor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, director of Harvard’s Healthy Buildings Program, and the coauthor of Healthy Buildings: How Indoor Spaces Drive Performance and Productivity, which was selected as ‘Best Book of the Year’ by the New York Times and Fortune. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Dr. Allen has served as commissioner of The Lancet Covid-19 Commission and Chair of its Task Force of Safe Work, Safe Schools, and Safe Travel.

An internationally renowned expert and sought-after adviser, Dr. Allen’s work fuses the fields of health science, building science, and business science to improve the health of indoor spaces and drive business performance. He has authored over eighty peer-reviewed scientific papers—including in such journals as JAMA, Science, and The Lancet—and regularly contributes to the New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal.

Dr. Kelvin A. Baggett is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with experience as a physician, clinical leader, operator, advisor and investor. He brings a richly informed point of view on health and healthcare and how to make improvements at scale. That perspective was shaped through his positions in senior management and executive leadership positions in large complex organizations.

Currently, Kelvin serves as Chief Impact Officer and Executive Vice President at McKesson Corporation, a Fortune 7 Company. Prior to joining McKesson, Kelvin served as Managing Director, Posterity Capital Group, a healthcare-dedicated investment firm targeting early to mid-stage companies that enable improvements in health and wellness. He also served as a Senior Advisor to Pharos Capital Group, a middle market healthcare private equity firm committed to investing in companies that reduce the total costs of care and improve outcomes.

Kelvin’s career also includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Health Care Navigator (HCN), a privately held asset management company focused on the post-acute care and long-term care entities in multiple states; and SVP of Clinical Operations and Chief Clinical Officer for Tenet Healthcare Corporation, were he was also previously the Chief Medical Officer. Before joining Tenet, Kelvin served as Chief Operating Officer, Clinical Services Group and VP of Clinical Strategies at Hospital Corporation of America (HCA), the largest investor owned healthcare system.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Kelvin served our City, in a voluntary capacity, as the Dallas COVID-19 Health and Healthcare Access Czar.

Kelvin completed his training in Internal Medicine at the Yale University School of Medicine. He completed advanced training as a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar in the Department of Medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and as a General Internal Medicine Fellow at the Duke University School of Medicine. Kelvin earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Doctor of Medicine Degree from the East Carolina University School of Medicine, a Master of Public Health Degree from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

He resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and two young children.

Dr. Bobby G. Baker is the Chief Community Engagement Officer at Christ Community Health Services. His previous work at Methodist LeBonheur Healthcare with the Congregational Health Network (CHN) has been recognized as a National Best Practice and cited by The Agency for Health Research and Quality (AHRQ). The CHN, an asset based, faith centered community health intervention, focused on patient navigation, grew to more than 500 partner congregations and reported a cost savings of $1,200,000 in healthcare expense system-wide. Dr. Bobby G. Baker also currently serves as Senior Pastor of Divine Faith Church in Memphis, Tennessee.

Dr. Barzilai is a chaired Professor of Medicine and Genetics and Director of the biggest Center in the world to study the Biology of Aging and the principal investigator of the Einstein Nathan Shock Center and the Glenn center. He was the recipient of an NIH Merit Award aiming to extend the healthy life span in rodents by biological interventions. He also studies families of centenarians that have provided genetic/biological insights on the protection against aging. Several drugs are developed based, in part, on these paradigm-changing studies. He is the author of over 270 peer-reviewed papers and a recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the recipient of the 2010 Irving S. Wright Award of Distinction in Aging Research and is the 2018 recipient of the IPSEN Longevity award. He is leading the TAME (Targeting/Taming Aging with Metformin) multi central study to prove that concept that multi morbidities of aging can be delayed in humans and change the FDA indications to allow for next generation interventions. He is a founder of CohBar Inc. (now public company) and Medical Advisor for Life Biosciences. He is on the board of AFAR, its scientific director and a founding member of the Academy for Lifespan and Health span. He co-founded CohBar and Lifebioscinces. He has been featured in major papers, TV program and documentaries (2 TEDx and TEDMED) and has been consulting or presented the promise for targeting aging at The Singapore Prime Minister Office, Prime Minister office in Israel, several International Banks, The Vatican, Pepsico, Milken Institute, Davos Economical Forum, and featured in The Wall Street Journal, New York Times, The Economist and Wired Magazine. His book Age Later was published in the June of 2020

Debika Bhattacharya is Senior Vice President of 5G & Enterprise Solutions for Verizon Business, charged with delivering 5G solutions and strategic business outcomes to Verizon’s Global Enterprise and Government customers. She leads a team of 1,100+ sales and technology professionals across 20 countries.

Debika’s current focus is on delivering business value to clients through Verizon’s best in class solutions such as 5G, edge computing, software-defined services, and digital collaboration, partnering with customers to navigate the challenges of today while building the foundation for future success.

As a seasoned global executive, Debika has extensive experience leading complex technology projects for Fortune 1000 clients, guiding successful IT transformations in healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and financial services. She has held a variety of executive roles within Verizon, including an assignment in Europe. She was instrumental in the global expansion of Verizon’s communications network, as well as the deployment of breakthrough optical wave technologies.

Debika holds advanced degrees in electrical engineering and physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the State University of New York. She serves as an industry liaison to the MIT community and supports outreach programs aimed at increasing the participation of women and minorities in science and engineering. She is also active in IEEE-Women in Engineering and the Society of Women Engineers.

Juju Chang is an Emmy® Award-winning co-anchor of ABC News’ “Nightline.” She also reports regularly for “Good Morning America” and “20/20.” Chang reported on the recent rise of hate crimes toward the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community as anchor of the ABC News Live special “Stop The Hate: The Rise In Violence Against Asian Americans” and the “20/20” special “Murder In Atlanta” following the Atlanta mass shooting.

Chang has been recognized for her in-depth personal narratives set against the backdrop of pressing national and international news. Her recent reports include a critical examination of the controversial Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) known as the “Remain in Mexico” immigration policy. The story was told through the eyes of one pregnant woman and her family among the 60,000 asylum seekers camped for months along the Rio Grande. Chang’s award-winning report on violence against transgender women of color across the country caps a series of her stories on LGBTQ+ issues. Chang won a GLAAD award for her story on the 25th anniversary of Matthew Shepard’s murder and the legacy his parents have built in his honor. A former news anchor for “Good Morning America,” Chang joined ABC News just after college as an entry-level desk assistant in 1987 and rose to become a producer for “World News Tonight.” After reporting for KGO-TV in San Francisco and the ABC News affiliate service NewsOne in Washington, D.C., she co-anchored the overnight show “World News Now.” Chang’s work has been recognized with numerous awards, including multiple Emmy’s, Gracie’s, a DuPont, a Murrow and Peabody awards. In 2017, she was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Front Page Awards.

Born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised in Northern California, Chang graduated with honors from Stanford University with a Bachelor of Arts in political science and communication. She is married to WNET president and CEO Neal Shapiro and, together, they have three sons. Chang is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a founding board member of the Korean American Community Foundation.

Ciara is a Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Over her fifteen-year career, she has sold over 23 million records and 22 million singles worldwide, including chart-topping hits “Goodies,” “Ride,” “Oh,” “1, 2 Step,” “I Bet,” and “Level Up.” Ciara is not only known for her vocal talent and dance moves (her videos have been viewed over 2 billion times), but she has starred in both film and television roles. Kenneth joined amfAR’s board of directors in 1987, and on World AIDS Day in 2004, he assumed chairmanship. Under his leadership of 14 years, amfAR was instrumental in significant breakthroughs in AIDS research, treatment, and prevention for the betterment of millions globally.

In 2016, Kenneth accepted an appointment as a UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador with the goal of helping to end AIDS as a public health crisis by 2030.
In 2003, Kenneth joined the board of trustees of the Sundance Institute and has supported advocated for the need for independent story telling.

After the devastating earthquake in Haiti in 2010, Kenneth opened a Health Center in Cité Soleil, serving the most underserved population in the northern hemisphere, in an effort to enable access to basic healthcare services to over 1.5 million Haitians in need.

In 2020, in the midst of the COVID 19 crisis, Kenneth launched an initiative to address what was arguably an even larger pandemic: Mental Health. The Mental Health Coalition (MHC), a coalition of the nation’s leading mental health organizations, brands, and individuals who have joined forces to end the debilitating stigma surrounding mental health and to change the way people talk about, and care for, mental illness.

The Coalition’s mission is to build a like-minded community who will work together to destigmatize all mental health conditions, and enable equitable access to vital resources and support for all. The Mental Health Coalition was formed with the understanding that the mental health crisis is fueled by a pervasive and devastating stigma, preventing millions of individuals from being able to seek the critical treatment they need. MHC is committed to not relent until mental health is no longer associated with stigma, shame, or judgement and all people feel empowered to openly discuss and address their individual mental health needs.

Michael M. Crow is an educator, knowledge enterprise architect, science and technology policy scholar and higher education leader. He became the sixteenth president of Arizona State University in 2002 and has spearheaded ASU’s rapid and groundbreaking transformation into one of the world’s best public metropolitan research universities. As a New American University, ASU simultaneously demonstrates excellence, access and social impact.

John F. Crowley is the Chairman and CEO of Amicus Therapeutics, a global biotechnology company focusing on developing treatments for rare genetic diseases. John has been Amicus CEO since 2005 and has overseen the company’s growth from a four person start-up to one with operations in more than 30 countries, with 550+ employees and a market value of nearly $3 Billion. John’s involvement with biotechnology stems from the 1998 diagnosis of two of his children with Pompe disease—a severe and often fatal neuromuscular disorder. In his drive to find a cure for them, he left his position at Bristol-Myers Squibb and became an entrepreneur as the Co-founder, President and CEO of Novazyme Pharmaceuticals, a biotech start-up conducting research on a new experimental treatment for Pompe disease (which he credits as ultimately saving his children's lives). In 2001, Novazyme was acquired by Genzyme Corporation and John continued to play a lead role in the development of a drug for Pompe disease as Senior Vice President, Genzyme Therapeutics. John and his family have been profiled on the front page of The Wall Street Journal and are the subjects of a book by Pulitzer prize-winning journalist Geeta Anand, "The Cure: How a Father Raised $100 Million-And Bucked the Medical Establishment-In a Quest to Save His Children." The major motion picture, Extraordinary Measures, starring Brendan Fraser and Harrison Ford, is inspired by the Crowley family journey. John is the author of a personal memoir: Chasing Miracles: The Crowley Family Journey of Strength, Hope, and Joy. John served as a commissioned intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve from 2005-2016, assigned to the United States Special Operations Command and is a veteran of the global war on terrorism, with service in Afghanistan. He graduated with a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and earned a J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School and an M.B.A. from Harvard. The Crowley family was the recipient of the 2011 Family Exemplar Award from the University of Notre Dame. He is also a member of the University Council on Science & Technology at Notre Dame. John served as the National Chairman of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America (2014-2016) and is a founding Board member of the Global Genes Project. John is a Henry Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute.

Karen B. DeSalvo, MD, MPH, MSc is the Chief Health Ocer of Google Health. She is a physician executive working at the intersection of medicine, public health, and information technology whose career has focused on improving health and eliminating disparities. She leads a team of health professionals at Google who provide clinical guidance for the development of inclusive research, products and services. Prior to joining Google, Dr. DeSalvo was National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and acted as the Assistant Secretary for Health in the Obama Administration. During her time at the U.S. Depament of Health and Human Services, Dr. DeSalvo focused on creating a more consumer-oriented, transparent and value-based health system. Dr. DeSalvo served as the New Orleans Health Commissioner following Hurricane Katrina. Prior to that she was Vice Dean for Community Aairs and Health Policy at the Tulane School of Medicine where she was a practicing internal medicine physician, educator, researcher and leader. She serves on the Council of the National Academy of Medicine.

Recently named by Fortune as one of the “World’s 50 Greatest Leaders,” Peter H. Diamandis is the Founder and Executive Chairman of the XPRIZE Foundation, which leads the world in designing and operating large-scale incentive competitions. He is also the Executive Founder of Singularity University, a graduate-level Silicon Valley institution that counsels the world’s leaders on exponentially growing technologies.

As an entrepreneur, Diamandis has started over 20 companies in the areas of longevity, space, venture capital and education. He is Co-founder and Vice-Chairman of Celularity, Inc., a cellular therapeutics company, and of Vaxxinity, Inc. which develops vaccines to harness the immune system against COVID and chronic diseases. Diamandis is Co-founder & Chairman of Fountain Life, a fully-integrated platform delivering predictive, preventative, personalized and data-driven health. Finally, he also serves as Co-founder of BOLD Capital Partners, a venture fund with $250M investing in exponential technologies.

Diamandis is a New York Times Bestselling author of three books: Abundance – The Future Is Better Than You Think, BOLD – How to go Big, Create Wealth & Impact the World and The Future is Faster Than You Think.

He earned degrees in molecular genetics and aerospace engineering from MIT and holds an M.D. from Harvard Medical School. Diamandis’ favorite saying is “The best way to predict the future is to create it yourself.”

Deborah DiSanzo is president of Best Buy Health for Best Buy Co. Inc. In this role, she is responsible for the company’s health strategy, with a particular focus on bringing health technology into the home to help people live better, safer and more independent lives.

Her oversight of Best Buy Health includes GreatCall, a leading provider of connected health and personal emergency response services to the aging population, which Best Buy acquired in 2018. She also leads the incubation, strategy and corporate development teams focused on scaling health initiatives at Best Buy.

Deborah is an innovative, strategic leader with more than 30 years of experience at the intersection of health care and technology. She is a recognized thought leader in artificial intelligence and big data, has deep experience in running businesses known for their innovation in health care, and has a demonstrated ability to drive growth both organically and through acquisitions.

Most recently, Deborah served as an instructor at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Prior to that, she led the IBM Watson Health team, launching artificial intelligence offerings designed to help doctors, researchers, health care providers, pharmacists and insurers better serve patients around the world. Deborah was also CEO of Philips Healthcare, where she and her team brought consumer-grade, automatic defibrillators to the market, making them first available in public places then, ultimately, in the homes of Americans across the country.

Deborah holds a bachelor’s degree from Merrimack College and an MBA from Babson College. She continues to teach at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and serves on the boards of AstraZeneca and Novanta Inc.

Chris, who joined Flexential in 2016, is responsible for setting and managing the strategic priorities of the company to drive profitability and growth. He is a proven Chief Executive Officer with deep expertise in the economics, delivery and operations in the data center and hybrid IT industries. Chris is a well-known speaker at industry, business, and regional events.

Before Flexential, Chris was Chief Executive Officer at Telx Holdings, a leading interconnection and data center solutions provider based in New York City. Dr. Bob Hariri is an accomplished surgeon, biomedical scientist, and serial entrepreneur in two technology sectors, biomedicine and aerospace. In 2010 he was appointed a Commissioner of Cancer Research by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

Patrice A. Harris, MD, MA is the CEO and Co-Founder of eMed, a digital healthcare company. Dr. Harris was the 174th President of the American Medical Association and the first African American woman elected to that position. Hugh Herr is creating bionic limbs that emulate the function of natural limbs. Time Magazine coined Dr. Herr the ‘Leader of the Bionic Age’ because of his revolutionary work in the emerging field of Biomechatronics - technology that marries human physiology with electromechanics. A double amputee himself, he is responsible for breakthrough advances in bionic limbs that provide greater mobility and new hope to those with physical disabilities. He is currently Professor of Media Arts and Sciences at the MIT Media Lab, and co-leads the Yang Center for Bionics at MIT.

Herr is the author and co-author of over 200 peer-reviewed manuscripts and patents, chronicling the science and technology behind his many innovations. Jessica L. Mega, MD, MPH, is the Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Verily Life Sciences. Walter Parkes is a motion picture producer, writer, former studio executive and currently the Co-Founder and CEO of the location-based virtual reality company Dreamscape Immersive Films produced or executive produced by Parkes have garnered numerous awards and have grossed over $6B worldwide, and include Gladiator, Minority Report, the Men In Black series, Free Solo, Flight, Catch Me If You Can, Awakenings, The Kite Runner, Amistad and many others. As a screenwriter, Parkes is largely acknowledged as a pioneer, along with writing partner Lawrence Lasker, in the development of the "tech-thriller" genre with WarGames, a Best Original Screenplay Oscar nominee, and Sneakers, starring Robert Redford. As the founding co-head of Dreamworks Studios, Parkes, along with partner and wife Laurie MacDonald, was responsible for the development and production of the studio’s diverse slate of films which included, for only the second time in Academy history, three consecutive Best Picture Oscar winners American Beauty, Gladiator, and A Beautiful Mind.

Gus Perna, the visionary leader of ‘Operation Warp Speed,’ shares the principles of leadership, teamwork, strategic planning, secure operations, and supply chain mastery that helped his team orchestrate the largest, safest, and most rapid vaccine deployment effort in global history.

Before he was named to co-lead the U.S. government’s COVID-19 response in 2020 with Operation Warp Speed, General Gus Perna served as head of the U.S. Army Materiel Command where he managed redistribution of critical munitions to the Pacific and fixed the Army’s housing crisis. As Commander of the Philadelphia Defense Supply Center, he was responsible for the fighting force’s global supply chain.

Sandra (Sandi) E. Peterson is an operating partner at Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CDR), a private investment firm. She works closely with the firm’s investment team and corporate leaders to source and evaluate transactions as well as support portfolio company management teams as they execute their value creation plans.

Previously, Peterson served as group worldwide chairman for Johnson & Johnson, the world’s largest broadly-based healthcare company, where her portfolio included medical devices, consumer, global operating infrastructure, technology, supply chain and key strategic initiatives.

Peterson has had an extensive global career in healthcare, life sciences, consumer goods and consulting. From 2005 through 2012 she was chairman and CEO of Bayer CropScience AG in Germany and CEO of Bayer Medical Devices. Anthony Philippakis is the chief data officer of the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, and the co-director of the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Center.

Dr. Robert R. Redfield is an American virologist who most recently served as Director of Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, advising the nation during one of the most tumultuous and fast-paced scientific discovery environments of our time, the Covid-19 pandemic.

Dr. Redfield has experienced three vastly unique and scientifically complex global epidemics during his career: Ebola, HIV/AIDS, and COVID-19. Kathy serves in several advisory capacities, including as member of the Executive Advisory Board for the Gartner Supply Chain practice, member of the Reagan Institute Task Force for National Security and U.S. Manufacturing Base Competitiveness and member of the Board of Advisors at AWESOME, a nonprofit working on the advancement of women in senior supply chain roles. Within Johnson & Johnson, Kathy is executive sponsor for the Women’s Leadership & Inclusion (WLI) initiative and the Women in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, Manufacturing and Design (WiSTEM2D) program.

In 2019, Kathy was recognized by the Council of Supply Management Professionals (CSCMP) with its lifetime Distinguished Service Award, and she was elected to the Supply Chain Hall of Fame, the industry’s top individual supply chain honor. In 2015, Kathy received the National Association of Female Executives’ (NAFE) Women of Excellence Award and AWESOME’s Legendary Leadership Award in 2014.

Kathy holds a BSE degree in civil engineering and operations research from Princeton University.

Wright's acting and humanitarian projects bring her closer to understanding human nature and what binds consciousness to reality. She is the founder of the production company Conscious Intent, which supports different media formats to promote the human story. Dr Vonda Wright, MD, MS is a double boarded Orthopaedic Sports Surgeon, Author, Researcher, Innovator and internationally recognized authority on active longevity and mobility harnessing innovative technology to provide integrative patient centered orthopedic sports surgery and wellness programming including her newest program, Precision Longevity. Dr Wright speaks worldwide, has written 5 books and is a frequent expert media contributor. A long time participant and speaker in the Lake Nona Impact Forum, Dr Wright moved her orthopedic practice to Lake Nona where she currently serves as the President of Hughston Orthopaedics SE, responsible for development and expansion of comprehensive integrated musculoskeletal care in the state of Florida, previously served as the inaugural medical director of the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex, a 185,000 sqft joint venture between UPMC and the Pittsburgh Penguins and was the inaugural Chief of the Northside Orthopedic Institute Sports Medicine building an orthopedic surgery department serving Atlanta. In addition to her clinical practice Dr Wright has served as the lead team doctor for multiple Division I college teams, professional athletes, the players doctor for several PGA US open and tour championships as well as the athletes of the Atlanta and Pittsburgh Ballet Theaters. Dr Wright serves the communities she lives in as a member of multiple non-profit boards and lives with her husband, 2x Stanley Cup champion, Peter Taglianetti and family in Laureate Park.
